building a voice ai communications coach
Rooh is provides personalized feedback through a voice AI coach to help users improve their communication skills.
drafting visual language
Rooh was just an idea drafted up by engineer friends and submitted into an accelerator program. The product lacked visual language and substance to make it memorable. That’s where our design team stood in to redefine Rooh.
Refreshing the design system
I established our design system, building out the main color palette and creating accent colors to compliment the existing system. We tested out variations of san serif typefaces that reflected Rooh’s branding and concluded with Manrope for it’s approachable look.
Design decisions
I focused on redesigning the recording and practice flows to provide a more intuitive and less complex experience. The main priority was for users to feel familiar with the software and comfortable with browsing through the different simulations.
