I’m Katy, currently studying cognitive science and design innovation at UC Berkeley with an interest in software development and tangible interfaces.
Design is a way for me to communicate how engineering can be aesthetic, intuitive, and equitable.
Recently, the projects that I’ve worked on assisted with expanding pet services for individuals with disabilities, and the other on empowering the cultivation of urban forests.
Growing up in Vietnam, moving to Southern California, and now living in Berkeley—adapting to different environments has shaped my perspectives on human connection and cultural nuances, which I apply in my creative processes.
